Mr. Michael Booth age 69 of London, Ohio, passed away Tuesday night, December 1, 2015 at Doctors Hospital West in Columbus,Ohio. He was born October 6, 1946 to his parents, the late James and Lula Thweatt Booth. Mike was a U.S. Navy Veteran having served in Vietnam, a member of Victory Baptist Church, and worked with OSU security at the Art Center. Survivors include 2 daughters, Courtney (Jesse) Fawcett of Flower Mound, Texas, Suzanne Jones of London, Ohio; 2 grandchildren, James and Harrison; life companion, Joyce Bond of London, Ohio; 1 sister, Pam (Jerry) Adkins of London, Ohio; 1 brother, Frank (Joan) Booth; 1 aunt, Wilma Judkins of Smithville and 1 uncle, Walter Booth of Killbuck, Ohio; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted 2:PM Saturday, December 5, 2015 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Michael Hale officiating and burial to follow in Jefferson Cemetery with Military Honors by the Veterans Honor Guard. Visitation with the family will be on Friday 11:AM until 1:PM and 4:PM until 8:PM and Saturday 10:AM until the time of the service at 2:PM. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to either a Veterans Charity of your choice or to the Alzheimer’s Association, in memory of Mike.
