Milburn

64 year old Milburn “Smitty” Rodgers of Cookeville died Saturday at NHC Healthcare in Sparta. He was retired from the Upper Cumberland Human Resource Agency and a member of the Smithville First United Methodist Church. The funeral will be Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Terry Little and Terry Redman will officiate and burial will be in the Keltonburg Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 3:00 p.m. He was preceded in death by his parents, Milburn, Sr. and Claudine Rodgers. and a daughter, Tiffany Rodgers. Survivors include two sons, Milburn Rodgers III and his wife Patty of Carthage and John and his wife Terri Rodgers of North Carolina. One daughter, Camilla and her husband Hans Koeller of Colorado. Six grandchildren, Matthew and Nicklos Rodgers of Cookeville, Sean, Jasmaine, Justin and Malley Rodgers of North Carolina. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. The family requests that donations be made to the Keltonburg Cemetery in lieu of flowers.
