80 year old Mildred Arnold of Smithville died Friday at NHC Healthcare Center in Smithville. She was a retired shirt factory worker and a member of the Church of God Seventh Day. The funeral will be Sunday at 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Paul Dunlap will officiate and burial will be in the Banks Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 3 to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. until the funeral at 1 p.m. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sylvestor and Emmie Elizabeth George Fish; a son, Jimmy Dean Arnold; and three brothers, Marlon and James Fish and Johna Bullard. Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Jimmy Arnold; two sons, Charles and Darlene Arnold all of Smithville, Ricky and Anita Arnold; a granddaughter, Molly and Devin Merriman; one great grandson, Colton Merriman all of Short Mountain; a sister, Marie Sneed of Florida, and several nieces and nephews. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
