76 year old Norman Henson Caldwell of Smithville died Friday at the Alvin C. York Veterans Hospital in Murfreesboro. He was a retired Army veteran, a member of the Mount Pisgah Baptist Church, and the VFW and American Legion. The funeral will be Monday at 10:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Glen Burks will officiate and burial will be in Whorton Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the service at 10:00 a.m. He was preceded in death by his parents, Will and Lena Ferrell Caldwell; his wife, Sylvia Caldwell; two sisters, Lois Moon and Nannie Mae Hale; and two brothers, Wade and J.W. Caldwell. Survivors include a son, Ricky Caldwell; two daughters, Connie and husband Greg Rigsby and Maria and husband Ricky Parsley. Four grandchildren, Melissa and Kevin Luttrell, Lawanna and Jamie Holloway, and Candise and Trevor Rigsby. Three great grandchildren, Makenna Luttrell, Madelynne Bogle, and Samuel Holloway all of Woodbury. Two sisters, Dorothy Miller and Flonnie Vanatta. Three brothers, Bruce, Zeb, and Raymon Caldwell all of Smithville. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
