Ollie L. Green

88 year old Ms.Ollie L. Green of Smithville died Saturday of an extended illness at NHC Healthcare Center in Smithville. The funeral will be Monday at 1:00 p.m. at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Bill Robertson will officiate and burial will be in DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. She was a Pentecostal, a retired factory worker, and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ike and Jessie Jones Pinegar; her husband, Logan Green; a daughter, Helen Wright; a grandson, Eddie Wright; and three sisters, Willie Odell Pinegar, Juanita Beshearse, and Leo Smith. Survivors include three daughters, Yvonne Green, Jo Ann and her husband Bill Sparkman, and Shirley and her husband Tavis Martin all of Smithville. Six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and ten great great grandchildren survive. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
