Patricia “Pat” Overton Paris

Patricia “Pat” Overton Paris, 85 of Smithville, Tennessee passed from this life on Monday, June 19, 2017, at NHC HealthCare of Smithville.
Pat was born Tuesday, December 1, 1931 in Chattanooga, Tennessee and she was the daughter of the late Gladys (Grieve) and Olin Overton.
Pat was a loving wife, mother, and Muffy to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by her son Randy Paris and his wife Donna Paris of Smithville, Tennessee and her daughter, Ginger Van Sant and her husband Richard Van Sant of Cumming, Georgia
She had 6 Grandchildren: David Van Sant, Richard Van Sant, Jr., Kate Karassik, Brandon Paris, Jennifer Griffith and Stephanie Smith. She had 10 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. William Donald Paris.
Pat chose cremation and the family followed her wishes and a celebration of her life will be held at Elizabeth Chapel in Smithville, Tennessee on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at 2:00 pm.
