50 year old Peter Scott “Skeeter” Dale of Murfreesboro died Friday night at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro. Scott was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert and Pauline Dale. He grew up attending the Smithville Cumberland Presbyterian Church and worked in Auto Detailing. He is survived by his father, Bobby Dale of Knoxville; mother, Mary Ellen Dale of Smithville; one son, Jonah Riley Dale of Murfreesboro; a sister, Patricia Collins of Texas; three brothers, Jamie Dale of Murfreesboro, David Dale of Smyrna, Josh Dale of Murfreesboro; aunt, Nell Beshearse of Smithville; cousin, Jim Beshearse of Smithville; special friends, Steven Estes and Mark Miller. Scott’s remains were cremated and a memorial service will be held at noon on Saturday, October 3 at the Smithville Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Isaac Gray will officiate. Visitation will be Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at the Smithville Cumberland Presbyterian Church. This information provided by DeKalb Funeral Chapel.
