60 year old Phillip Lee Trobaugh died Thursday at his residence. He was a member of the Nash Grove Baptist Church, served in the Tennessee Army National Guard, and he was retired from Fleetguard. The funeral will be Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Baxter Funeral Home. Mark Gaw will officiate and burial will be in the Pleasant View Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Sunday from 7:00 a.m. until the service at 2:00 p.m.. Trobaugh was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Ethel Dunn Trobaugh; an infant sister, Linda Lee Trobaugh; and two brothers-in-law, James LaFever and Joel Vradenburg. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Whitehead Trobaugh of Baxter. Step-children, Sherry Burton and family, Dana Harrison and family, and Jonathan Harris and family. Sisters, Ruby and her husband Royce Moore of Smithville, Ruth and husband Charles Mayberry of Cookeville, Roberta and husband Rhea Wilson of Cookeville, Donna and husband Mike Pace of Lebanon, Rose Mary and husband Kenneth Deweese of Baxter, and Christine LaFever of Baxter. Brothers. James and wife Sue Trobaugh and William and wife Judy Trobaugh all of Baxter, and John Trobaugh of Smithville. Father-in-law, John Whitehead of Buffalo Valley.
