86 year old Reverend Randall L Geren of Cleveland died Monday. He was an ordained minister in the Church of God and was an evangelist for over 20 years and served in pastoral ministry for over 35 years. He was a member of the North Cleveland Church of God and a member of the Unity Sunday School Class. Geren was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Melba Marie Geren; parents, Jim and Dovie Geren; two brothers, Rev. Gilbert Geren and James Geren; two sisters, Dorothy Gill and Mildred Neeley; one granddaughter, Jamie Marie Geren. He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Linda Geren of Decatur. Two daughters and son-in-law, Charlotte Casteel of Cleveland and Tammy and Thomas White of Smithville. Five grandchildren, Rocky Casteel and wife, Stacey, Hollie Geren Rapello and husband, Paul, Randy Lewis Geren, Lacey Nicole Duke and husband, Patrick, and Lindsey Marie White. Three great grandchildren, Hannah Daily Casteel, Caroline Grace Casteel and Charlotte Marie Rapello. Several nieces and nephews also survive. The service will be Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at the North Cleveland Church of God with Dr. G. Dennis McGuire, Mitch Maloney and Marshall Roberson officiating. Burial will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the church.
