64 year old Rebecca G. Clayton Brown Pedigo Beason of Smithville died Thursday at her residence. She was a secretary with the UCHRA and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her father, Floyd McKinley Clayton; her step-father, Roy Melton Seals; and her grandparents, P.M. and Hattie Clayton, and Talmidge and Rebecca Myrtle Davis. The funeral service will be held Saturday at 3:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Timmy Clayton will officiate and burial will follow in the Snow Hill Methodist Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m., and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service. Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Darlene and James Burger of Kansas City, Kansas; Veronica and Jeff Baker of Middletown, Ohio; and Beth and Derwin Adcock of Smithville. Two step-sons, Darryl Brown II and his wife Debbie of New Jersey, and John Eric Beason of Florida. Her mother, Molly Edith Clayton Seals of Smithville. Three grandchildren, Christopher Shane White, Shay Nicole White and Joshua Thomas White, all of Kansas City, Kansas. Four great-grandchildren, Alexis Marie Howell and Damien Michael Howell, both of Missouri; Bryce Alexander White of Kansas City, Kansas; and Zacariah Jayce Baker of Arkansas. Two brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenneth and Ellen Clayton of Smithville, and Perry and Dana Clayton of Crossville. Two sisters and a brother-in-law also survive, Brenda Trapp of Smithville, and Deborah and Tony Miller of Milledgeville, Georgia. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
