81 year old Robert Eldon Robinson of Smithville died Tuesday at Spencer Generations. He was a Baptist and a retired employee of the DeKalb County Landfill. A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at Salem Cemetery at Liberty. Junior Hibdon will officiate. He was preceded in death by his parents, Williams Floyd and Clara Macon Bluhm Robinson and a sister, Lois Barber. Survivors include a daughter, Linda Barber of Smithville. Two grandsons, Danny Barber of Cookeville and Scotty Barber of Smithville. One great grandson, James Dillion Barber of Smithville. One step-daughter, Julie Van Bomel. One step-son, Kenneth Lee and three step grandchildren all of McMinnville. Two ex wives, Ann Robinson Smith of Smithville and Mary Belle Robinson of McMinnville. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. The family has asked that no flowers be sent all all donations please be made to the funeral home to help with burial expenses.
