90 year old Ruby S. Quintero of Smithville died Friday at DeKalb Community Hospital. She was a TSR with the IRS and a Baptist. The funeral will be Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Mark Bass will officiate and burial will be in the National Cemetery in Nashville. Visitation will be Saturday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until the service time at Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Visitation will be Monday from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at Inglewood Baptist Church in Nashville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Quintero; parents, C.W. and Georgia Bass Small; three brothers, Wesley, Neal, and Tom Small; and two sisters, Era Archer and Georgia Ellis. Survivors include a son, John and his wife, Kay Quintero of Smithville. A grandaughter, Tammy Stevens of Smithville. One sister, Marie Parrish of Port St. Lucie, Florida. Three sisters-in-law, Sally Small of Texas, Amy Small of South Haven, Mississippi, and Ruth Quintero of Long Island, New York and numerous nieces and nephews. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. The family asks that donations be made to the First Baptist Church Life Enrichment Center, Haven of Hope, or Inglewood Baptist Church building fund, in lieu of flowers.
