61 year old Russell Fann died at his home Thursday. Born in Cannon County, Fann was a member of the New Hope Church of Christ. He was a farmer and a retired employee of the State of Tennessee Highway Department. The funeral will be Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at the New Hope Church of Christ. Ralph Richardson will officiate and burial will be in Riverside Gardens. Visitation begins at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Woodbury Funeral Home. He was preceded in death by his father, Ray Fann; Uncles, Joe and Paul Wimberly and aunt, Mattie Lee Gannon. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Sharon Fann of Woodbury. His mother, Mildred Wimberly Fann of Woodbury. Children, Derek and wife Alison Fann and Brooke and husband Josh Smith all of Woodbury. Grandchildren, Brady Smith, Raena Smith and Michael Ray Fann all of Woodbury. Mother-in-law and Father-in-law, Bobby and Martha Barrett of Woodbury. Aunts and uncles, Ruth LaFever of Murfreesboro, Darce and Bernice Wimberly, Glen and Rhonda Wimberly, James Wimberly, and Baunita Wimberly all of Woodbury.
