85 year old Sammie Edwin Malone of the Temperance Hall Community died Thursday at NHC HealthCare Center. He was a farmer. The funeral will be Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Michael Hale will officiate and burial will be in the Snow Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 1:00 p.m. 4:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 2:00 p.m. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill Yancey and Allie Claro Page Malone. He is survived by a sister, Argie Lamberson of the Temperance Hall Community and several cousins. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
