67 year old Sarah Tramel of Smithville died Monday night at DeKalb Community Hospital. She was a retired cafeteria manager with DeKalb County Schools. She was also a member of Calvary Baptist Church. The funeral will be Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. B.J. Thomason will officiate and burial will be in DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.; Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.; and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the service at 11:00 a.m. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Lovell and Mairene Bailiff Keith; a sister, Sue Keith Hale; and brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Carolyn Young. Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Kenneth Tramel of Smithville. Two daughters, Jennifer Tramel of Smithville and Jill Tramel of San Antonio, Texas. Three sisters, Joyce and husband Charles Stanley of Kentucky, Jan and husband Steve Anderson of Nashville, and Shirley Taylor of Murfreesboro. Two brothers-in-law, Jerry and wife Carolyn Tramel of Smithville and Eddie and wife Debbie Tramel of Alcoa. Two sisters-in-law, Becky and husband Moose Nokes and Joyce Hendrixson of Dowelltown. One aunt, Louelle Bailiff Tramel of Smithville. Thirteen nieces and nephews, eleven great nieces and nephews, and her church family at Calvary Baptist.
