30 year old Terry Wayne Johnson of Alexandria died Tuesday at Riverview Regional Medical Center in Smith County. He was a tree trimmer with J & L Tree Service and a member of the Full Gospel Tabernacle Pentecostal Church. The funeral will be Friday at 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Buford Bane will officiate and burial will be in the Hale Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. He was preceded in death by his step-father, James Lackey; grandmother, Pauline Johnson; uncles, Sherman and Billy Wayne Johnson; and an aunt, Rita Faye Gorman. Johnson is survived by a daughter, Maya Lynn Lynch of Alexandria. His father, Jerry and his wife Lucinda Johnson of Alexandria. His mother, Patricia Lackey of Lebanon, Two brothers, Paul and his wife Terra Johnson of Lebanon and Brian and his wife, Christa Johnson of Alexandria. Three step-brothers, Daniel Sevier of Carthage, Keith and wife Canvas Lackey of Lebanon, and Jamie Lackey of Lebanon. Two step-sisters, Paige Sevier of Alexandria and Lucinda and husband Victor Sanchez of Lebanon. Nieces and nephews, Harley and James Johnson of Lebanon and Ashley Johnson of Alexandria. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. The family asks that donations be made to Maya Lynch’s college fund, in lieu of flowers.
