87 year old Thelma D. Kelley of Alexandria died Sunday. She was born in Wilson County and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Alexandria. The funeral will be Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria. Kenneth Tramel and Kirk Wagoner will officiate and burial will be in the Hillview Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the service. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thatis and Johnnie George Harden.; her husband, Ollie Lee “Tot” Kelley; brothers, Alton, J.W., and Vestal Harden; and sisters, Patty Ray Young and Bell Barnes. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Hilda and Jimmy Oakley of Liberty and Barbara and Ronnie Gibbs of Watertown. Grandchildren, Melissa Williams of Lebanon, Susan and husband Chuck Gann of Dowelltown, Ginger and husband Bill Ash of Watertown, and Clark and wife Lisa Oakley of Liberty. Great grandchildren, Rachel and husband Steven Ballard, Ryan Williams, Nolan Ash, Evan Ash, Whitney Gann, McKenzie Gann, Cason Oakley, and Addison Oakley. Great great grandchild, Landon Ballard. A sister, Lois Stedman of Madison. Brother-in-law, Lawrence Barnes of Old Hickory. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria is in charge of the arrangement.
