Vivian Inez Yell

74 year old Vivian Inez Yell of Smithville died Sunday of a short illness at DeKalb Hospital. She was a member of the Laurel Hill Baptist Church and was retired fron Norvell as an inspector. She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude Marion and Naomi Bessie Williams Fleenor and a brother, Mervyn Fleenor. Survivors include two children, Joni Brown and James Yell of Smithville. One sister, Marjorie Hopkins of Smithville. Nieces, Sherry Kennedy, Julie Hanrahan, and Susie Bradley all of Louisville, Kentucky. Ms. Yell’s remains have been cremated. A memorial service will be held Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. at the Laurel Hill Baptist Church. The family has asked that donations be made to the LaureL Hill Baptist Church in memory of Ms. Yell in lieu of flowers. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
