76 year old Wanda Poss of Smithville died Wednesday at Vanderbilt Hospital. She was a Baptist, President of Woodsmen of the World of Smithville, retired Senior Citizens Director, and she was retired from Kingston Timer. The funeral will be Friday at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Donnie Kelly will officiate and burial will be in DeKalb Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 1-8 p.m. and Friday from 11 a.m. until the service at 2 p.m. She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyce Vickers and Gertie Bluhm Vickers and Bobbie Vaughn Turner. Survivors include a son, Byron Poss and Donnell, two grandchildren, Keshia Poss and Westly Poss all of Smithville. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Love-Cantrell Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
