84 year old William Robert Daniel of Woodbury died Saturday at NHC of Murfreesboro of an extended illness. He was a Cannon County native, a carpenter, a World War II U.S. Air Force Veteran and a member of the Caney Branch Baptist Church. The funeral will be Monday at 4:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home. Leonard Herman and Doyle Sherrell will officiate and burial will be in DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. He is survived by his wife, Dean Cook Daniel of Woodbury. Four siblings, Alta Mae Maxwell of Jackson, Michigan. B.F. and his wife Mary Helen Daniel of McMinnville. Patricia Medley of Lewisburg, and Shirley and her husband Harold Whitaker of Franklin. A sister-in-law, Brenda and her husband Rayburn Hibdon of Centertown. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and his buddy toy poodle, Peyton. Woodbury Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
