91 year old Wilma Hillis Tolbert, a resident of the Webb House in Smithville died Sunday.
She was a long-time member of Vultee Church of Christ and served there for many years as the Church Secretary.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. with Dr. Carl McKelvey officiating.
Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park’s Garden of the Last Supper.
The family invites friends to gather with them Tuesday evening for a time of visitation at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home in Nashville from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
Tolbert was preceded in death by her parents, James Robert and Lena Marie Hillis, and husband, Thomas Tolbert. She is survived by her sons, Harrell (Gwen) Tolbert of Smithville, and Tommy (Melissa) Tolbert of Nashville; three grandchildren, Tara Tolbert, Lauren (Drew) Whitfield, and Lindsey Tolbert and her fiancee, Chris Safley; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Tolbert of Murfreesboro, and brother, Lloyd Hillis of Fairborn, Ohio.
